Happy Friday, 315. Three food festivals land on the same Saturday and they could not be further apart. Cazenovia does blueberries at Critz Farms, with u-pick rows, wagon rides and two stages of music from noon. Geneva hands its whole lakefront over to garlic, fifty farms deep, Saturday and Sunday both. Adams turns the village green into the 16th Annual Cheddar Cheese Festival, free, with a petting zoo and ice cream at Sixtown. Three crops, three counties, one Saturday.

The music slate is the deepest it has been all summer. Usher and Chris Brown co-headline the R&B Tour at the JMA Wireless Dome on Saturday night. Tim McGraw opens the week at Lakeview on Friday with 49 Winchester. Tori Amos plays the Landmark on Monday behind her eighteenth album. Ella Langley brings the Dandelion Tour to CMAC on Friday, Billy Bob Thornton and The Boxmasters are at Lincoln Hill Farms the same night, and Warrant turns up at del Lago on Saturday. Beak and Skiff runs three of its own: The Head and the Heart on Friday, Lake Street Dive on Wednesday, Cole Swindell on Thursday.

The North Country spends the week outdoors and close to the water. A traveling blacksmith named Jymm works an eighteenth-century forge at the Sackets Harbor Battlefield on Friday and Saturday, farrier tools and all. Cape Vincent puts the Tas Cru Band on the Village Green on Saturday afternoon for nothing. Clayton runs a two-hour booze cruise out of the Riverwalk docks on Friday and brings Sister Hazel into the Opera House on Thursday. Alexandria Bay has jazz at the Thousand Islands Winery on Friday and Frankie Scinta at the Kring Ranch barn on Saturday.

If crowds are not the point, Selkirk Shores runs two free programs on Friday: fish printing near the beach late morning, then a kayak lesson at half one with boats and life jackets provided. Fort Stanwix marks the start of the 1777 siege on Sunday morning. Old Forge sells handcrafted pottery with a Mercer's sundae included on Saturday, and the Pageant of Steam fires up its engines in Canandaigua from Wednesday. This week's Foodie Corner heads to Albany Street in Cazenovia for the Brae Loch Inn, an 1805 building the same family has run since 1946. More on that below.

Week three of the free Clinton Square series. School of Rock Fayetteville opens at 5:30pm, then Pink Floyd tribute In The Flesh takes the stage at 8. Food trucks and a full bar on site.

McGraw brings the Pawn Shop Guitar Tour to the lakeside amphitheater with 49 Winchester opening. Lots open at 4pm, gates at 5:30, rain or shine.

The Seattle folk-rock band plays the orchard amphitheater at Beak and Skiff on its 15th anniversary run. Doors at 5:30pm, tickets through Tixr only.

The Pacifica Quartet joins artistic director Aaron Wunsch for Haydn and Barber, including the Adagio for Strings.

U-pick blueberries, wagon rides, farm animals and two stages of live music from noon at Critz Farms on Rippleton Road. Farm beers and ciders for the grown-ups.

A free open-air art and music showcase at SingleCut Barn on East Seneca Street. Around 15 artists and eight performances across the afternoon and evening.

Usher and Chris Brown co-headline the R&B Tour at the Dome. The biggest single ticket in the 315 this week.

Tony-nominated baritone Norm Lewis sings jazz, soul and standards at Anyela's Vineyards with pianist Isaac Harlan. Gates at 6pm, rain venue is Skaneateles High School.

Free family party on Wilkinson Street with Dark Hollow, The Rollin' Rust and the Ben Blujus Band. Rain or shine.

Amos plays the Landmark on South Salina Street behind her eighteenth studio album.

Lake Street Dive returns to the orchard with The Dip opening. Doors at 5pm, tickets via Tixr.

Season opener for the free Hanover Square series. DJ Joey D at 5, Ruha at 6, then Fleetwood Mac tribute Seven Wonders at 7:30.

Country headliner Cole Swindell closes the week at Beak and Skiff with Ethan Garner opening. Doors at 5pm.

A short introduction to flower identification, then a trail walk to see what is blooming. Four dollars a person with a family maximum.

Learn about Lake Ontario fish, then try printing with them. Free, kid-focused, and children need an adult with them.
